floating dutchmen in miami
Wow, what a week. Miami is just wonderful.
Thanks to the hospitality of both the Ultra Music Festival and the WMC organisation we had a marvelous time.
ULTRA
Ultra was just fantastic, dancing between Palm Trees, Sky Scrapers and the Atlantic..The set up was a pretty though job (12 stages = 36 Freefloats, 36 turntables, 36 cartridges, 24 cd-players and 12 mixing consoles...) but together with our friends from Allen & Heath and Shure we managed to get all DJ Booths done and sound-checked in time. More then 200 artists, performing in ultimate conditions, technically spoken but also shiny sun during the day, very good temperature during the night and perfect stage design with a lot to see... and 50.000 people going out of their minds... yes Ultra was just great!
WMC POOLPARTY
Although it was very late night before we saw our beds, we had to get up early. Today we had to install our promo booth at the WMC swimming party. we where a little late but after the set up was done and our promotional booth was established we started inflating the Giant Freefloats, they looked very cheerfully in the water and where a perfect toy for young and old. We were present a couple of days more and gave away Freefloats to WMC attending DJ's, producers and press. Hope to see you lucky ones some day spinning on them! And remember all who got a pair; we are waiting on your pictures and comments! reactions
